The Twelve Steps

The Twelve Traditions

Our purpose is to help the still suffering alcoholic by carrying the message of recovery and to help alcoholics establish direct contact with Alcoholics Anonymous. We also provide information regarding meetings, events, workshops, conferences and other matters of importance to recovering alcoholics within the district.

The next District 3 meeting is at the Alano Club in Perham at 10:00am. We urge all District officers and group General Service Representatives to attend.

AA Preamble

Capital Alcoholics Capital Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help to others recover from alcoholism.

Capital The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking.

Capital There are no dues or fees for A.A. membership; we are self supporting through our own contributions.

Capital A.Capital A. is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution; does not wish to engage in any controversy; neither endorses nor opposes any causes.

Capital Our primary purpose is to stay sober and help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety.
